I’m considering getting a copper IUD when I’m no longer pregnant. Does anyone have experience with a copper IUD? Thoughts?

I had it an hemorrhaged every month to the point where I was severely anemic. I was 1 period away from needing transfusions. I switched to a Kyleena, and it fell out without me feeling it, and I got pregnant right away

I got it. Soon after i started hurting and feeling a pinchung type pain inside especially during sex... tmi.. but i went and they did a ultrasound to see where it was and apparently within a couple weeks it startsd falling out and when i went to get it taken out a week later it had got lodged in the side abd had to be YANKED out. Ugh worst thing ever. I never recommend this BC to anyone.

I’m considering it also since it has no hormones. But I read it can makes your periods heavier and I already have heavy periods as is.
