Try to sleep during the day with him if you can. I’m used to functioning on less sleep but I know how hard it is in the beginning. Sometimes you have juggle whether or not you should eat, sleep or clean during nap time. Stuff your face and pass out. Lol it gets better.
It gets better as they get older. With my oldest son he didn’t sleep through the night until he was a year old. Before then, he was up multiple times a night. I don’t even know how I got through that. I was working back then too. My youngest is the complete opposite. I would say for the first month or 2 he woke up a few times throughout the night, but that’s normal for young babies. After that, he’s been sleeping through the nights since. He rarely wakes up in the middle of the night now. Right now, since your baby is only 2 weeks, he’ll be waking up a bunch throughout the night for the next few weeks. After that, it should get a little better. Just push through and drink lotssss of coffee.
Thanks you ! I’m trying my best not to fall asleep while he awake lol I’m doing this alone with no help my bf works all the time. You all so strong women!
girl, I completely understand. My fiancé works non stop. It’s been like that since day 1. So I get the whole doing it alone thing. You got this, momma. And just know this won’t last forever.
It's hard at first but it does get better. I mean my son just started sleeping the night. I remember how hard and sleepy I felt at first and it sucks being that tired. You'll get used to it, but also just take it easy and try and nap when he naps. Even if it's a short nap, anything helps.

I just recently started being able to sleep most of the night. Your body will adjust to the lack of sleep.

It’s so so hard! Having a sleep debt is the worst. But it’s only temporary. It should get better with time. Hang in there!
