So my doctors office called and told me I have a bacteria infection and I have to take flagyl for it. I read the bottle and it says breast feeding is not recommended while using this drug consult your doctor or pharmacist... I plan on breast feeding I have to take this stuff for 10 days 2 times a day... my baby will be here soon and I’ll still be taking this medication. I didn’t take any of it yet because I’m gonna ask my doctor about it first. I’m not giving up breastfeeding for medication .

I had to take that for a internal abdominal infection, I was breastfeeding at the time but it is what I needed. It isn’t ideal for the baby but they will be just fine. No worries, take the meds and get better.🧡
Well how would you get rid of the bacterial infection? You wouldn’t have to give up breastfeeding. It’ll probably be delayed.

Quick question to breast feeding mum i would like to breast feed my baby when she comes as I’ve never really breast fed my other 2, is it uncomfortable also how is pumping out milk????? For bottle feeds is the pump uncomfortable... I would normally just breast feed and not pump when home but I do drive so when I’m out and can’t stop I’ll have to use a bottle...I remember trying to breast feed my youngest and I keeped getting milk ducts why was that??? I have my nipples pierced. But I want to know if I can still breast feed with them in. I know I have to take them out while breast feeding. But if I can't, I'll try to do pumping for him.
