And actually the non hormonal one is the strongest birth control besides getting your tubes tied and stuff like that.

I have the non hormonal one and I love it! It was hard the first five months due to very heavy periods but now I have fairly normal periods...more on the heavier side but I can manage! So worth it. I hated hormonal birth controls. But I didn't have any irregular bleeding just heavy periods that are always on time

Non hormonal causes very heavy periods for me but I have to suck it up because I’m sensitive to hormones

I literally just had this talk with my aunt😂 Well it depends on the side effect! Non hormonal wont give u as harsh or many side effects but the hormonal one works better to fight against unwanted pregnancy! My aunt is a ultrasound tech and scans at least 3 pregnant women a week who had the nonhormonal IUD and had scanned 0 so far for the hormonal IUD! Its a great question to ask ur doctor!
