I mean I told him I was going to buy it anyway. So I’m definitely not going behind his back. He just said okay, and as of right now I’m only 10 1/2 weeks and on the Doppler website they state it’s best to use there product at 12 weeks even though some women can pick a heartbeat up as early as 10 weeks. They even have a video showing you how to properly use it. It’s definitely something I’m not planning on using on a regular basis. I thought it would be cool to do it with my three year old so he can hear the babies heart beat. I have a stuffed toy that has his heartbeat in it and dad and I have already started talking to him about the baby and stuff. He gets excited. It’s really just for fun but I also think it brings peace of mind. I wanted one with my first and didn’t get one and I regret it this time around I feel like I found one for a good deal so I’m going to just do it!

Id say if youre the type who would worry if you couldnt find a heartbeat and stress yourself dont get one

If you have a clear understanding you cannot use it for medical/diagnostic purposes and only for entertainment its a great thing to have

I would still buy it. It’s a good price. Sometimes I spend more money at McDonald’s... totally worth it. I bought ours for $49
