Question? When you start seeing your doctor every week. Are they suppose to check your cervix every time you go. I see a midwife and I wasn’t sure if they do different things from a regular doctor
Sometimes you know your body better than everyone else. Not every woman will produce high levels of hcg throughout pregnancy some it can take weeks some it can take months don’t trust a blood test don’t trust a urine test trust your heart and when you know it’s times it’s time this doctor was not a gynecologist so he did not give me a quantitative blood test to actually see what my hcg level is at I hope this helps some of you ladies who just feel like giving up and stop testing because of what everyone else thinks or what a doctor tells you trust your body you know your body better than a blood test and a pee test and god will lead you to the right path

This might be the dumbest question yet.. But after the doctor checks you.. To see if your dilated, do they do it every week that you go back?

I got checked once in the ER at a different hospital. Other than that my midwife didn’t check me until the night I was admitted to be induced.

Midwifes dont usually check often. My OB started at 36 with my last and the one before that not until 37 or 38.

My doctor I have now does not check until 37 weeks but when I was pregnant with my first in a different state they checked once I hit my every week appointments
