She has finally started growing in length! 22 3/8" and she is 11lbs 6oz. She hasn't gained quite as much weight as she should, she is about half a pound off where they want her to be, but she is getting there and should be able to go up if I can get her to feed longer. The lady at WIC said that since her weight gain is going up we should be able to solely breastfeed as long as she feeds for a little longer. We will see what the doctor says next Wednesday.

Definitely go off of what her doctor says and not just what wic says. Usually the people in wic are just nurses, not doctors.

I am not going to stop with the supplementing or anything I am doing now, except try to get her to eat more to help weight gain. I am not going to make any big changes until after we see the doctor.

I just realized I read your post wrong. 😅 For some reason I thought your post said wic told you that you wouldn't be able to solely breastfeed. My mistake.
