Are there secrets or something to your little ones sleeping in their own crib/bassinet?! My daughter is 10 weeks & wont sleep unless she is sleeping on my chest. Don’t get me wrong! I absolutely love it but I’m ready for her to sleep in her bassinet.

Well not repeat the bath and feed, but hold and comfort until she is sleepy again.
You could try when you put her to sleep on you, also use a white noise machine or app on your phone so she gets used to it. Then when you transfer her to her crib, put the white noise machine close by. It lulls baby back to sleep even if they briefly wake up.
What works for my little girl is to put her down after laying on me for a while. We also have the bassinet that vibrates so I’ll have that on for a little and it seems to help. Also I have a machine that plays a heartbeat sound and she loves it.
I think it just depends on the baby honestly. But I know that if my daughter can sense that I’m in the room, she won’t be content unless she’s on top of me. So the only way I can get her to sleep in her crib, is to have her crib in her own room. She sleeps 10 hours straight in her own room. But if she’s in the same room as me, she’ll whine and wiggle around until I pick her up.
it’s always best to let them fall asleep in the same place they’ll wake up. otherwise, if they open their eyes even the slightest bit, they’re not somewhere else and won’t wake all the way up to try and figure out where they are
She hates them soooo much lol just screams and try’s to get out of it 😂
Let her fall asleep on you then transfer her to the bassinet. It will probably help if the bassinet is warm and smells like you. I use to use a heating pad for just a few mins before putting my son in there
Perfect thank you!! I tried putting a shirt that smells like me in it at the bottom of her feet. She’ll stay sleeping for 5 min then up crying.
@saleena, a lot of the time when they are that little. It’s our heartbeat and our warmth that keep them asleep. So just make sure she’ll stay nice and warm and it should help

Instead of buying a bassinet could my baby sleep in a pack and play beside my bed or a rock and play,until I feel safe with him sleeping in his crib in another room? I see no need in buying a bassinet when he will only be able to sleep in it for a few months anyways. No rude comments! 😀
The secret is to swaddle and do it from birth lol. But if she already hates the swaddle I would try bath, feed, hold her until she's supper sleepy and then put her down awake but sit there until she falls asleep and repeat as she wakes up, it may take awhile for her to get use to it.
