:: Did anyone have a big baby and then have a smaller baby after that? My first son was basically 9lbs and this one is tracking to MAYBE be 8lbs. That’s so small. 😳🙈 I don’t even know what to think.

the doctors made me feel wrong for having a big baby, but honestly I was the size of my son and my sister was just a few ounces bigger. My dad is also super tall. We just have big babies. I just want to the judgement to stop from my doctors 😥

Is this one a girl? They tend to be smaller but the calculations are not always accurate. But 8lbs is still pretty big to me lol. My girl was 6.14 and my boys 7.2 and 7.4. They just kept getting bigger lol

No, it’s another boy. There’s not a single full term baby in my family under 8.5lbs. My youngest brother (same dad; different mom) was just under 8lbs but I figured that came from her side. My dad and both of my uncles were all “preemies” in terms of gestational age but my dad was 6lbs at birth and he was born at 35 weeks. My grandma is SUPER petite though. She’s maybe 5ft. The rest of us are huge. I’m 5’9” and my husband is 6’2”. So I’m just floored and wondering if the measurements are wrong.

my husband was a 9lb baby so I was scared because I'm only 5 foot and could hardly handle pushing out my 7lb baby lol I was about the size of my daughter at birth also. My sister is smaller than me and her full term baby was just under 6lbs! But you could still end up having a 9lb baby.

My son was 9’15 and my daughter was 5’6 and my other son 7’6 so it happens lol I was almost 13 pounds and my sister was around 7 ish lol

None of the babies in my family are under 8.5lbs except for one of my brothers (different mom). 🙈 I’m not sure where this is coming from.

My oldest was 9 lbs exactly at 39 weeks, middle was 6.7 lbs at 39 weeks and youngest was 6.5 lbs at 35 weeks.

My youngest was the smallest and the only boy. He was 7 lbs 9.5 oz. His sisters were 7 lbs 14 oz and 7 lbs 15 oz.
