Because I was supposed to be paid Friday but now I’m hoping and praying I get paid Wednesday(I’m not entirely affected by the shut down but I am partially it’s why my check wasn’t cut when it was supposed to be because they didn’t have the money) I’m also trying to find a place for myself my son and his dad as we have a new baby on the way like....come on over a damn wall?
People need to stop being dramatic just because it’s Trump that’s doing it. Gov shutdowns are nothing new. Yes it is the longest but only by 2 days. Before this, Clinton held the longest gov shutdown in 1995, and just to mention, because it seems everyone has forgotten, Obama did it in 2013 for 16 days. Don’t buy into the fear mongering.
@bubbys.mommy, I’m just saying he’s not the only one who’s done this. And while I’m not saying its not shitty for those who it’s effecting, it is a little dramatic to be fearful of something “crazy” happening. As if we are in a “end of the world” movie or something.
And there are certain people, who get more than a little riled up, no matter what HE does, even if it’s literally the same shit previous presidents have done just years before him.

I'm 25 & I've already lived through one recession and the housing crisis, both which severely affected my family. I just gave birth to my first ever daughter and I really don't want her to have a similar experience.
