How many cm dilated were you it doesn’t say?

If your simply uncomfortable they will likely send you home.

I was 4cm dilated last Tuesday. I know like after 7 they wont give you an epidural. I was only 3cm dilated with my first when i was induced due to leaking fluid at 38weeks. So this time around my body is doing most of the work.

I’m an L&D nurse I’m just saying if your only 4 and uncomfortable they will likely send you home (at least that’s our protocols) Unless your progressing very quickly and it doesn’t really have any basis on whether you want the epidural or not. Not everyone that wants an epidural even gets one even if your below 7cm. Many people are even sent home at a 5 unless they are having productive contractions. I walked around 3 weeks at 4cm so that doesn’t really mean much in the grand scheme of things unless your progressing, and you said your only uncomfortable.
