I always go with 3 days in the fridge but you can go 4 safely

I always try to keep it under 6 days, if I know I’m not gonna use it then I’ll freeze it at 3 days. I’ve kept it up to a week with it being fine and other times it was spoiled at a week. Breastmilk changes daily so it depends on the milk. I always do a sniff test to be sure.

There is conflicting info but I always went with 5 days in the fridge. But if you freeze it and then thaw it, the guidelines change to mirror the guidelines of formula. A lot of people don’t seem to know that.

You can just go by the 5-5-5 rule. Easy to remember.

5 hours at room temp.
5 days in the fridge.
5 months in the freezer.

Also you can keep breast milk up to a year in a deep freezer.
