Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

We've decided to start potty training our 22 month old since he can pull down his pants, we've thrown ourselves into it. Now the question is, can 22 month olds be manipulative 😳? This child is something else. If we're having him do something he doesn't want to do, like going down for a nap, he'll start saying potty, if we let him go, he just runs all over the place, I guess forgetting he wanted to use the potty 🤦🏿 ♀ Is this a thing? I just go get him and have him sit on the potty and I tell him, "if you say you want to use the potty, then you must use the potty." I feel like I should work on him not "telling lies." But idk what this behavior is. Can 22 month olds be manipulative, and a liar? Someone told me "he's intelligent to know that saying potty will get him out of something he doesn't want to do." I say... this some bull... 😑😒 Another thing, when I try to get him to look at me when I'm trying to tell him he did something wrong, he does not make eye contact. I get down on my knee in front of him, he looks away, I cup his chin with my hand to have him face me, or say "Nordo, look at mommy please," he averts his eyes... you guys 😓 somedays I feel like he's a sociopath 😬 I don't say that out loud though 😅 ugh, I know, I'm CRAZY, but man... what are the chances? lol
Well... Someone is going to be surprised when he gets out of basic training.
I created a potty training group on here I potty trained my now 11 month old in exactly 1 month. No he is no a genius. I was just determined to get him out of diapers. I woke up every 15-30 minutes to put my son on the potty. I Never yelled when he did have a accident. I just put him on his potty and told him that he is a big boy and big boys don't pee or poop in their diapers. I always clapped 👏 my hands when he did pee or poop in his potty . I don't give my son no sort of candy or stickers since he can choke. I rewarded when he was accident free for 1 month I purchased him a toy . Who would like to join my potty training group?

Not being afraid of the potty is a sign of readiness so he’s not fully there yet. If you push him, it will only make it worse. Let him go at his own pace to get used to it.

Well, he used to have no problem. So, that’s what makes me think this is just a phase. I’m just gonna give him a little break and we will pick back up in a week or two.

Have you tryed little awards when he goes, or if he has a potty in the bathroom go with him it may help

I even let his stuffed doggy come with us because “he has to go too” and that doesn’t work lol Ive also let him watch potty training kid videos while he goes and that just distracts him

I wish I had an answer for you. My son is 22 months and has been telling me he has to go for a good while now. I have tried the toilet and got him a training potty, but he freaks out and won’t use it. He will sit down and go but he won’t let me take off his diaper, so he just still ends up going in his diaper. I’m just giving it more time.

I just got my son tons of underwear and would put them on him for a few hours if it was Like spider man underwear I would tell him don't go potty on spiderman , eventually he got to the point where I would keep underwear on him all day besides night time and now I took them away for night time and just got a good sheet cover so his mattress doesn't mess up he has some accidents till this day but mostly at night or in car , just have some patience and be prepared for lots of wet clothes
