@jamiladenise95 Keep in mind babys tummy is the size of a cherry right now. The most a newborn eats is 2 oz every 2-3 hours. You do not need to supplement. Please see my post I just made on breastdeeding hun ❤

Are you on WIC at all? If so I know an awesome lactation specialist who helped me with my second child. She's actually in Austin. Let me know hun! ❤

Nipple shield works wonders on new babies.

Oatmeal, like 5 packs, momma's milk tea, lots and lots of water, feed, feed, feed. But you don't have to give up, supplement. I have to, and it's hard for me, cause I wanted to fully breastfeed her. But 8 extra oz of formula might do more then just help the baby gain weight on top of your breastmilk

Look to see if there is a lactation consultant in the hospital where you delivered that you can meet with.

Some have luck using a nipple shield too.

Don’t feel alone girl. I had such a hard time too. It’s ok to not succeed. Comming from who lasted less than a week and ended up giving her formula because I was stressing I wasn’t doing it right. And she is healthy and only got a little bug one time and no ear infections so far. So I believe the first part of your milk she has drank and has gotten good antibodies
