Help/ Advice????? Why does our child have to be so headstrong about this?!?!! Like yes I'm glad she's strong willed and all but we are trying to get her off the baby bottles for good, (yes I know baby's are supposed to be off the bottle by age one, I didn't know how hard it was gonna be to get her off them or the age cut off for then. So yes I'm now trying to get her off the bottle at age 2..) Got softish rubber training sippys to get her used to it. Well its been all day crying, and screaming "I want baba" and throwing tantrums cuz we won't give her a baby bottle, we keep offering her the sippy cups that we got her, she has the choice of the softish rubber tip sippy and the hard plastic top sippy cups and she drinks from the rubber tip sippy and then calms down a minute and starts up again.

It’s a process. It won’t happen overnight. Just remain consistent. A girl I know kept giving in and her daughter had a bottle until she was 4. The sooner, the better.

Yeah, our daughter is a year and 9 months and still wants her bottles at night. She loves cups with straws, so we’ve been trying to get her to use that more. She bites the sippy cups, doesn’t like drinking from them. It’s so hard getting them off those bottles.

It’s hard and it sucks but we cut out now 3 year old off around 2 cold turkey. We threw them away and she watched so she knew, she was not happy. We did sippy cups and also the cups with straws which she liked cuz she had a big girl cup lol. Worth a shot

I know what I was meaning to ask y'all . Is it true that at the age of one your baby would have to switch to sippy cups…

I know what I was meaning to ask y'all . Is it true that at the age of one your baby would have to switch to sippy cups because of their teeth rotting out? The nurse told me I would have to stop Carmen from drinking out of bottles since she's has been switched to whole milk because it will start rotting out her teeth.🤔 Help me understand because either way wouldn't the whole milk still be in her mouth unless you brush her teeth ?
