Did anyone discover they had a cyst on their ovary during their 12 week scan? If so was there any plan put in place? ... The sonographer found what she said is a tiny cyst on my right ovary but never mentioned any observations for it or anything. But when I’ve reread my notes it says it’s 36mm, which doesn’t seem tiny to me! 🙈 ... Now I’m a bit worried about it, especially as my friend needed emergency surgery on a cyst during pregnancy as it grew and wrapped around her ovary. xx

When I had my early scan at 7 weeks due to pain a cyst was picked up on my ovary and again on my other scans. Can't remember how big it was but they just said they would check after the pregnancy if I had any symptoms etc. Which I do and I am due a scan on 22nd of this month to see if it is still there or to see what is causing me pain xx
I had one with my first. Harmless, still there now as nothing was done
Any moms out there ever had a cyst on their ovaries ? I was around 10 weeks when I found out I had a cyst on my right ovary , I got another sonogram to look at it if it grew or was still the same size and it was the same size so the dr told me I could have a c section which I don't want one. My previous pregnancies where normal , I've heard the cyst hurt and etc but thank god mine doesn't hurt or bother me .

Ah ok, thank u ladies. I’ve no pain or anything like that. I think I was just worried due to what happened to my friend. I’ll hve a word with my midwife I think when I see her in a few weeks. I’m sure if there were any risks tho they’d be monitoring accordingly. xx
