Are video baby monitors really necessary if you have a small house? I want to start putting my baby in his crib soon, but I’m not sure if I should get a video monitor or not. My house is really small, it’s 700 square feet and his room is literally three steps from our bedroom. We have an audio baby monitor but are video baby monitors worth the $100+ for a small house?
Am I wrong for telling my Bd that because we not Married my baby don't have to have his last name? He really got mad and told me I was project n ignorant. Crazy part is I was thinking about giving my baby his middle and last name
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Dad's FB Video!! Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!
Baby monitor What kind of baby monitor do you guys recommend? I want a video monitor not just a sound monitor but I have no idea which ones are good!
My friends surprised me at my house today which a bunch of stuff for my son that I really needed and I cried like a baby! I couldn't afford a baby shower/ didn't have enough people to invite to really spend money so they planned a small "baby shower" and it was the best thing ever!

I use nine so I can see shes not face down and I can see her breath. When I go outside to the yard. When I'm in the living room. For me the comfort of being able to see her and know shes breathing or has her face up or sideways saves me from having to walk in her room and possibly wake her up. It's an amazing piece of mind

I have one in my 1050 sq ft house, even though our rooms are 10 ft apart. Cause 1, he’s in a toddler bed now and sometimes takes a while to fall asleep. 2, he’s always talked in his sleep, even as a baby, and going in his room to check on him always wakes him up

I had a video one and my son's room was right next to ours but it was useful to just check on him throughout the night without having to go in his room

I want a video monitor because sometimes he’ll make sounds in his sleep and I’ll think he woke up so I’ll go in there and almost actually wake him up. 😬

Yes! Our house is small too and we can hear our son pretty much in any room, but i love the video monitor so i could check on him without waking him up.

Our apartment was 800 sqft and we thought the same thing. But we decided we wanted one and it was the best! I zoomed in to make sure he was breathing so many times. It was great to check on him when he was sleeping without chancing a wakeup, let me check on him from bed of he made a noise, and it let me save clips so I was able to save the first time he pulled himself to stand, among other things.

You can save clips? I didn’t know that. I love that feature. I think I’m definitely going to get one. Which one do you have?

I think it depends on what camera you get. We used the Nest camera, and you need the monthly subscription to save clips, but I'm sure other cameras and brands let you save clips too. I think you can with Arlo and Nanit too, but I'm not certain.

Could be use full in the middle of.the night when you're extremely tired but baby makes a noise. My daughter will cry in the night but not wake up she puts herself back to sleep but I check on her on the monitor just to make sure it doesn't look like she needs me or something is wrong

True, I didn’t think of it that way. Most of the time my baby sleeps through the night but the nights where he does wake up that would be so useful.
