How long does it take for a nose cauterize take to heal? My 2 year old had his done Wednesday morning.

He has been sneezing alot and rubbing his nose. He has not picked it at all. But today I noticed it was swellon just alittle. Should I call the dr that did his surgery?

@lilmama83 if it's swelling I'd call just to be safe.

@rariszoo his follow up appt the dr that did the surgery said that its healing good and that he may have alittle swelling but as long as it dont start to bleed it's good but if it follows by a bad bloody nose to bring him in

When I had it done it was maybe a week. Longer if they irritate it so watch out for fingers in the nose and lots of sneezing. Mine only took a week but I was 16 and knew better than to mess with anything.
