I need some serious prayer...last night my aunt who’s like a mother to me shot/killed herself. I’m about to make a flight with my baby for the first time and need to know if TSA will allow me to bring her small sippy cup and small container of goldfish crackers. Online it says it’s ok but just making sure. I’m a mess and just trying to get it together since my fiancé won’t be able to travel with me. 😞 My heart is broken.

I am so so sorry for your loss. Yes anything for your baby u can bring. Drinks, formula, food. Those applesauce pouches, water, juice. It’s all ok for a baby

Oh honey, I am so sorry for your loss. I caught a flight to Mexico for almost the same reason you are right now 10 years ago. My mom committed suicide and wouldn’t let me care for her despite being a nurse so I get it. I didn’t have my son yet so I can only imagine what’s going on in your mind right now. It seems you’ve already been given great advice as far as TSA goes, but let me share with you what my husband told me before we got on that plane and dealt with still the hardest issue in my life...this has stuck with me for over 10 years now.
There is no timetable on grief and healing. It’s okay to have every emotion in the book because that’s part of the process. As weak as you may feel now, you’re one of the strongest women I know and you will get through this. Besides, you’ve got me I’m not going anywhere.

Through my personal experience I packed all of my babies things separately and they let me bring all of it without any issue.
They just made sure everything was what it said it was

I've never had an issue bringing food/water trough security for him. I've brought bottles of water, bottles of formula, and pouches, all larger than the 3.4oz limit, snacks, pretzels, etc. I do keep them unopened until we're through, though. They usually screen it separately going through security but I've never been stopped or said I can't bring it, even when he was 2.

That will be fine. I suggest bringing an unopened bottle of apple juice and water. They'll ask who it's for and you say your daughter.

@blessed2018w9, yes I’m sure. She’s suffered a life of many health issues including lupus and bowel problems that left her with only a small piece of her intestines. She told me a year ago that when the time came when she could no longer take care of herself, she did not want me or anyone else to move back to the shitty town I grew up in to take care of her. She told me she would end her life by taking a supply of her meds she’d saved. During Xmas she was in ICU for bowel obstruction/sepsis. Once released home she fell and busted her eye. The next day she was back in the hospital with another partial obstruction. Two days after her release she ended her life at home with a gun. I’d been trying to call her for two days with no answer. I think she knew if she heard my voice she wouldn’t follow through with her plans. I’m so scared of what ill see when I walk into her house. I don’t even know if the blood is cleaned up. All I know is she left a note for me and our family. 😢
@crystalhealing smh 😔 this broke me...(((HUGGING YOU TIGHT))) I'm very sorry my luv and even sorrier for the pain she suffered. I'm here for you anytime you need me just to listen to ya or cry with you...shes always going to be with you so dont be afraid to talk to her in heaven if it helps to ease your pain. I wish I was with you to hold your hand when you walk through her door.
