I started late. Cuz I was pregnant, working full time up to my due date, and super lazy. I started training my son 3 months before his 3rd birthday.

I started putting mine on around 13 months. She always tried to poop in the tub. So eventually she stopped going in her diaper, and would go around her bath time. I put her on more and more and eventually she started asking when she had to go. She's been fully trained for a few months. I dunno if it's the right way, but it worked for us

I think it depends on the kid. My oldest started at 18 months, and was completely trained by the time he turned two. My 2 year old now is only starting to show interest now.

I started Elimination communication at 6m but not consistently just something to get him used to it. Started potty training at 1yr old. My oldest is fully trained through day and night and my youngest we just begun the battle. But he is doing great considering his age. We are on a break currently because I don't PT during Leaps
