Curious question to anyone who had to take magnesium when pregnant. What were some side effects to taking it if you had any?

That's weird. I've never heard of magnesium doing that. I've taken it throughout my whole pregnancy with my first and this one for constipation. It's a vitamin that's it so I never had any side affects what so ever and took it over the counter
See Im on it for headaches which so far haven't helped to much yet i was just wondering if the low back pressure like I have to go is cause of it or just cause of normal pregnancy things.

I had Mirena for about 5 1/2 -6 Months. And got it taking out March10,2015 and had my first period March 12,2015, and it was a regular period and havent got one since. Could it be the IUD? Lady's that has had the Mirena taking out how did it affect your period!

Same here. I went into preterm labor and they gave it to me. I only had one dose. The only side effect I had was feeling extremely over heated! But I was up and walking around within 45 min after giving birth.
