How was your kids first day at daycare? My son seems terrified. He was fine with me up until bed time. Absolutely went NUTS screaming and crying and didn't want me touching him, I had to coax him with paw patrol YouTube videos. I'm so worried he's not going to adjust. He's been away from me, just never at a daycare. Always family. I'm afraid he won't do great, and I'm also worried about the whole "dangerous caretaker stories" I've read online. Someone please calm these nerves before I cry to bed for feeling like a terrible mom ):

It might take him some time to adjust to a new environment but I’m sure he will get used to it quickly. How was he at drop off and pick up? His behavior at bedtime might be totally unrelated to this change. You are NOT a terrible mom!

I made the mistake of reading reviews online. I'm genuinely considering pulling him from that daycare. He was BAWLING at both times

It’s a new experience for him. Give him some time to adjust.

I'm probably going to. I know it'll take him a little while to adjust but if I don't see him improving in a week or two I'm gonna pull him

Before you pull him take your time to do some deep research and also research other daycares. Hope it gets better!
