The most traumatic part of my scope Tuesday was the nurse taking 3 times to try for an IV and blew each vein she stabbed. She even used a vein finder before poking me... yet couldn't get it still. Then finally had another nurse come and do it.. they asked her if she wanted the vein finder and she rolled her eyes and said no. She got my vein on the first try!!! She was a rockstar. I keep getting asked what happend to my arm? My bruises are nasty. Some people need to go back to training cause all the wiggling the first nurse did with the ivs it is no wonder my arm looks like this. :/

Geez... when I was in the hospital having my 2nd baby, they stabbed me 6 times before they could get good veins and then I had 2 separate IVs for separate things in very uncomfortable spots. I had bruises for weeks after and it was so traumatic, especially since I have a fear of needles... I balled my eyes out almost every time...

I was sick alot as a kid. I have a rare disease so I'm used to being poked, but I've never had bruises like this from a nurse blowing my veins this bad. My arms ache alot.

I'm sorry!! A nurse did this my first pregnancy the second nurse had to use my hand because the first nurse tried four times in both arms. So from there on out even through my second pregnancy and even till this day I make them use my hand lol

The nurse was nice. But I could tell she had no idea what she was doing. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt but she definitely messed my arms up.

I am so sorry. Some nurses can’t find a good vein which makes it harder for the person being poked. My mom is a nurse and til this day they will call her on the floor if they can’t get a good vein. She is the the iv queen. Lol this made me think of it.
