Someone that has had a addiction to porn for years more than 10 years and watch it every day including when they in a relationship and that did damage to other people around him. He came to me and said that he gonna change and pray and he gonna take all of it out his phone and do right. Do u you thinks think he gonna get rid of it and change after so many years of being heavy in it

He sees a therapist and takes meds for bipolar but I don't think he goes there and talk about the addiction I think he trying do it on his own and trying to tell his self he is but if he had that since a lil boy I don't see how it's gonna go away unless he pray and keep it all away. But I'm concerned because it messes up everything we do
@alexisroger200 That's great he's there for those things but I would definitely encourage him to talk about it while he's there and ask for resources. Praying is always a great idea but sometimes these things require some outside help. Marriage counseling may even be worth trying.
@madhatter yes I'm gonna tell him about talking to her about the addiction to get more insight about it because it's bad on top of him having fetish.but when it gets concerning is when I'm seeing it and he's cheating like sending me females and stuff
Never Underestimate the power of wanting to change! There are deeper issues when 1 has an addiction whether it's porn,sex,drinking,drug addictions..You either have an addictive personality or you don't. Change comes from within
Right yeah like he done said it so many different times and never do it or do it real fast and get all of it back and than it interferes with the relationship because he will start talking to other woman and sitting to me and having thoughts of me of porn he watching
Porn addiction can actually be really serious. You may want to recommend him seeing a therapist because doing it on his own may not be successful.
