I live in michigan and we've basically been hibernating all winter. I think I want to carry my 4 month old in a carrier and put my 2 year old in a stoller., just always feel like it's too cold out for the baby

Our weather has been between 20-30°

Hopefully we get a decent day soon

My son is 6 weeks old, and loves walks in his stroller! He’s so calm, and goes right to sleep🙏🏼. I don’t take him for walks when it’s really cold though. We’ve had a few sporadic days of 50+ temperatures, and we take advantage of that.

I take my son out with me to the bus stop to get my son off the bus since the day we brought him home but when his dads home they all generally stay and I go alone

We never bring our babies out in the snowy weather. It’s too hard to push a stroller and it’s slippery. Both of my kids were born in the fall so we brought them out on walks as newborns. Then after hibernation we bring them out once the snow melts and it’s above 40 ish degrees.

I’ve gone for walks with my kids. It’s been cold here. I wear my daughter and put a jacket on around us.

I definitely took all my kids out for walks at that age all year round and I live in Syracuse, NY. We stay in if it's below freezing but otherwise the fresh air is good for everyone. We didn't stay out as long in the winter but it's still nice to get out for a bit. Just make sure you dress them according to the weather, you don't want baby to get overheated with too many layers. In a carrier she will have your added body heat to warm her.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?

Modesty- Where did it go?

Modesty- Where did it go? There is too much sexy going on! I was incredibly guilty of it in my younger days, too. But as I get older and look at pictures that women are proud of I actually get embarrassed for them. What happened to old fashioned modesty? I change clothes if my v neck t-shirt shows too much! I know my younger self would be laughing at me right now, but I have definitely changed my perspective as I have gotten older and become a mom! Does anyone else feel this way or have I just turned into a crabby old biddy that forgot what it was like to be young?!?!
