The roof people randomly showed up to do work. I really wish they were better at communication, at least giving a heads up of when they're coming. I hope all their banging doesn't mess with his nap.

@supermomsupertired, I think the issue is that we have a slate roof, and not every company handles slate. Even though around here lots of homes have slate. They finally got the important problem done, though. One of the tiles had a hole that didn't leak when it rained, but would if it snowed and the snow sat melting. Obviously we wanted that done before snow really started.

oh yeah alot dont. Slate roofs r cool tho! And expensive

@supermomsupertired, haha, yeah. We were told to budget about $700 a year for repairs and maintenance on the slate. This year we wanted to install snow guards and new gutters so it's a lot more than that. But replacing the few tiles themselves was only a couple hundred!
