When after you give birth do you quit bleeding? It’s been 8 days now and I thought it was just goona be a few days.

Lol no! I wish it was like a regular period but you just pushed a baby out. You’ll bleed for much longer than a few days ❤️
Could be anywhere from 4-6 weeks. Like I bled normal for like 2 weeks, it lightened up at like 3 weeks and I stopped completely maybe around 4 weeks.
About 4 weeks with my first and 6 weeks with my second.
At least 2 weeks. But an average of 3 between them all.
Stopped bleeding after two weeks.
A little spotting that turns brownish after a while.
Also sometimes you’ll get your period right away. 🤷🏻♀️

I bled for over a year with my youngest. 5ish weeks with my oldest.
I did for 5 weeks. The first couple of weeks were the worst.
I don’t remember exactly but I remember it being at least a couple weeks of real bleeding that turned gradually to spotting for a while. Everyone is different but it’s not generally just a few days.
