Is it so much harder then you expected or not as hard as you expected? Or difficult I should say
How was the pregnancy while having a bday to take care of?

My kids are 2 years apart. And it was hard. I knew it would be hard. I found the end of my pregnancy easier, even did a little birthday party for my son a few days before his sister arrived. Once my second arrive it was harder. My physical recovery was hard. My emotions were harder at times too. By 6 weeks we all did alot better. We kept my son in daycare for those first 6 weeks which helped us all I think. We had alot of struggles (medical, physical, emotional) those first 6 weeks. We did a ton better afterwards. We have only gotten better as things moved on. Some of it is me letting go and accepting some things. Other parts are me learning what I can do to help my toddler adjust. It's a learning process but it has been good for us. My daugther loves her big brother and he loves her too. Both enjoy playing on their own and along side each other now, which helps alot.

Also my first didn't walk until he was 18m so I was in my second trimester when he started to walk.

Mine are two years apart and we love the age gap so much I’m currently pregnant with a third who will also be two years apart from my youngest. Routines are everything. Get everyone on a routine and life will be so much smoother. I’m not saying it’s a walk in the park, but nothing about having kids is lol pregnancy with taking care of a toddlers is more difficult than if they were a bit older just because I’m on my feet all day, everyday. Basically the only down time I get is if I sit to fold a load of laundry. I’m irritable, and tired and lose my patients often, but this doesn’t last forever. There are a lot of pros and cons but for us, the pros were much greater.

Mine are only 13 months apart. There have been some difficult times with basically 2 babies, but after establishing a routine, it’s great! My pregnancy was fine. I had trouble picking up my son towards the end and had to be careful because my hips were very loose though. But with chasing him around while pregnant, I didn’t gain much excess weight. Lol

Well I have a 10 year old and a 15 month old. Is was surprisingly not to difficult. I don't have to do every little thing for my 10 year old. he basically does everything he needs to but cook. But having a 15 month old and a new born.... I'd say would be harder then a 10 year old and a new born..
