Anyone else grandparents had kidney failure? My mum has just got back from taking my nan to the hospital and her kidneys are only working 14%. They're going to be sending round Macmillan 😞
@soontobepreshous, ah bless her I’ve known people to stay well for quite a long time when they’ve been given not long to live. Is she living at home still x
@jennypoulter yes she's still at home as she refuses any other help x
yes but developed sepsis first and then he went into kidney failure he didn't make it but hopefully its a different situation for your nan. ❤❤ xx
My grandad isn't either ! You can actually live well on a small percentage of your kidneys working and they can do a lot to help x
Does he have a good diet? My nan struggles to eat and drink.. we obviously hope she lives longer but you just don't know do you?😐
@soontobepreshous urm not really bit we have meals delivered for him from Wiltshire farm foods so we know what he eats the reason for his kidney failed is because he has cancer and the chemo attacked his kidneys but they seem to manage his kidneys well but he will have to have dyalasis eventually but your right you just don't know it makes him very tired and get kidney infections a lot but I hope the best for your nan and hope they can help her 💜 xx
@jodiedillon3 aww bless him.. it is horrible.. to see someone you love not know who you are anymore and see them become so unwell 😖
Yeah ! My grandads kidneys are only working at 13% but they seem to be able to manage is pretty well and also my mum only has one kidney and hers is only working at 20%And they manage hers well too ! X
The problem my nan has is she isn't on dyalasis or any medication and I've looked up that without that she will only live for a few months 😞x
my right kidney is hurting me soo badly 😷😣
kinda confused. if my kidneys are fine. 37th an why do I feel a sharp pain in the middle of my back in my right side? it comes and goes. could it be a kidney stone? or a pinched nerve?
this is one of the many reasons why I WANT MY SON HERE ALREADY.

Glad my doctor clearly doesn't take uti's/ kidney infections seriously! Fetal death?? Are you kidding me 😭😭😭
My grandma's kidneys are shutting down now. 😭
are any mommies to be high-risk? I am because of my kidney disease. With my first child I didn't have high risk because I didn't have my disease but now I'm always worried.
Did they say at what stage it is I work with the elderly and there tends to be different stages I’ve known people to live for years with kidney and renal failure x
