Animals can sense the baby and know that you are in a vulnerable state at the moment so they become more protective and like to stay close by

I love that!! I wish dog!! But it is in there nature to guard. Once baby come they will be protective of the baby.

I have the same prob even worse now that I'm pregnant.  My pit and my Shepard are literally my needy 9th grade boyfriends until my husband gets home

My dog guards the door while I use that bathroom and I have to let them inside while I shower and 9/10 they end up inside the shower with me 🤦🏼‍♀️
