Animals can sense the baby and know that you are in a vulnerable state at the moment so they become more protective and like to stay close by

I love that!! I wish dog!! But it is in there nature to guard. Once baby come they will be protective of the baby.

My dog guards the door while I use that bathroom and I have to let them inside while I shower and 9/10 they end up inside the shower with me 🤦🏼‍♀️
