@mumtothree, Nope, I don’t have hyper. I have hypo. But I’ve always had hyper symptoms. It makes no sense and my doctors are confused. When I’ve taken my synthroid in the past, I’ve become over medicated which resulted in extreme hyper symptoms. So I’m off the meds for now. My mom also has hypothyroidism.
My sister has it. She had to cut out all soda and fast foods like McDonald's, taco Bell, Burger King etc and make her own healthy meals for her work and home meals. She dropped nearly 60lbs just doing that and only drinking water or sugar free sparkling water if she was craving soda. She's also on medication for her hypothyroidism and this was the only thing that helped her.
It's very rough I've had thyroid problems since I was 8. I'm 24 now. And I've always struggled with my weight. What I have found for me that works but not like I would like it. Low carb stuff and lots of meats
I wish I found out earlier in life I found out at 29 and I’m 31 now :/ they don’t have my dose for my medication right yet.. and I am just trying my hardest to lose some weight but it’s such a struggle..
@mommyandstepmommy, they said it’s suppose to be in a 3 or 4 range mine is over 9... I’m on 88 mg of my meds and they started at 25 mg.. my cousin is on 325 mg a day half in the morning and half at night
