Did ranitidine work for your baby? My son tried it when he was about 2 months and maybe I just didn’t do it long enough for it to work. But he’s still spitting up everything . So we’re trying it again. He’s been on it for 3 days now . How long did it take for you to see changes ?

A week or more. Be consistent. It’ll eventually work. Make sure the dosage is the correct one for your babies weight.

Sounds right. My daughter was only taking .8 at about 2 months

It didn't work for my daughters. They both still spit up a lot until recently. Their doctor said they were at the max dose for their weight, and there was nothing else they could do about it. So we dealt with a lot of spit up until they started moving around a lot by themselves, then it seemed to calm down a bit.

Yeah my son never stops moving lol he’s constantly on the go and spitting up on everything in his path 😂

It worked for a weeek and stoppped. We were suggested to increase her dosage but we did not want to do that. We were already skeptical having her medicated so early on.
We got a second opinion and after many trials and errors of different formulas. We found one that was the right fit for my daughter. She drank Similac Alimentum ( Ready to feed ) from 8 weeks till she was 1 years old.

We tried that formula and it didn’t work . We tried so many different ones . Nothing . We’re on nutramigen rn

he definitely doesn’t spit up like he used to , or every time . But some days are worse than others. And he spits up solids too. So it’s not just the milk

It took about a week for my son but he was taking it 3 times a day I don’t remember the dose though. He would still spit up some but better then he was. Is he on formula?

@michellemybell09, we need a referral 😭 his dad insurance doesn’t but my part does and he’s on both. So it sucks . We literally can’t take him without the doctor giving me one

my husbands insurance is the same you need a referral it’s a pain especially when they want you to want they wanted me to wait for my sons tongue tie but I thought it was best not too and I told them that and I got my referral. Do you think if you asked for one now the doctor would give you one instead of having to wait it out?
