Ladies did you guys pump right after getting home from the hospital or in or few days after
I want to pump because idk if i will be able to breast feed so i wanted to know if i start when i get home to pump or in the hospital
@fbella091, why won’t you be able to breastfeed? I would ask your dr or the nurses but I would imagine right away.
My first was sick- we had to supplement so I pumped during our hospital stay. With this one, he is 9 weeks old and I haven’t pumped yet. Well in the hospital I asked for a hand pump because he was having trouble latching and I thought pumping a bit might help first- I don’t really count that though because I only did twice and really got nothing out. It was the same night he was born. If you don’t need to pump right away, I wouldn’t, it’s a hassle if you don’t need to. I need to start soon though, because I want him to get used to a bottle before I go back.
It took me like a week and some days because I wanted to see how good I did with only breast feeding but it was taking over me and my entire day.. I had help but I didn’t have a chance to rest/nap until I started to pump. It helped me so much to gain strength and confidence and I felt more able to do things around the house .. I felt like I didn’t need all the help I was getting because rest made me feel like I was on top of the world 😂😂
I didn’t start until 5-6 weeks after my son was born.
I was advised by my lactation consultant to wait 6 weeks before I started pumping. Take advantage of the lactation consultant in the hospital and see what is going to work best for you and baby.
My pump didn’t come for a week after delivery so my husband went and bought me a hand pump. My boobs were thankful 😂
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Rainbow in the sky after walking my 2 mutts last night. Here's to hoping for us all! ?
My dr told me to start right away to build up supply for when I returned to work.
