Okay sooo got into and argument with my husband about smoking in the house.. he doesn't believe kids can be harmed by second hand smoke.. or by third hand smoke and likes to make me look like a over protective mom.. he says his other baby mamas smoked around there kids and there fine.. 🙄 but everyones body is different and problems may come up later..
Okay this is what reallllly pissed me off.. is when he said that if me and him split and me and him have different homes.. that I wont be able to stop him from smoking infront of them.. I told him well you just put smoking first over your kids... Makes me want to run far away from him like he doesnt love his kids more then an addiction right? 🤨

Babies that are around cigarette smoke are more likely to die from SIDS. Being a premie is additional risk factor. He needs to do some research or let your doc tell him.

Honestly I think he knows it is harmful but since he is addicted to it he doesn’t care that it is. I don’t mean this in a rude way
I agree with bringing it up at your next doctors appointment. It’s not safe for babies to breathe that in, or for you while pregnant!
You aren’t wrong in getting upset with him.. he should smoke outside; out of their sight. Second hand smoke can do much more harm. Vaping is an alternative to help start the process of quitting. There’s patching, mints, other things. I’m sorry you and your kids are dealing with someone so stubborn. What’s his reason aside from addiction?

I’d bring him to the next doctors appointment and ask the doctor. They will straighten him out. We don’t even allow people to step out to smoke when visiting us, if they need to smoke, it’s the end of the visit. We ease up after baby turns 1, but still do not allow them around people smoking. And besides health issues, smoking inside is just gross, it’s not even good for the house!
Going through this battle with people who don't think.. I know he tried me tonight saying its to cold going to smoke in the car.. i was like I be d@mn. I have showed him causes of smoke for babys and he won't listen.
This ticks me off too. He promised to stop smoking in the car before baby. Well baby is here early.
Print out some of the info on second hand smoke. It really is damaging. Kids shouldnt have to breath it in.

okay I can't be mad at him right now. he moves alot in his sleep and isn't really supportive during my pregnancy but he moved like this while he is asleep and it's just one of those moments that make it all worth it. arian started kicking his hand.
