Is it possible to get a negative test at 5 weeks ?

I have also heard people can test negative when they are but I’m thinking that’s pretty rare. For the most part a test will show positive if you are pregnant.

At 5 weeks you should have at least 18 hcg, which would show positive on the test. So no, not possible.

Totally correct you would have enough HCG in your system at 5 weeks gestation to test positive on a FRER which is a 6MIU test 5 and below is considered negative so that’s darn sensitive.

You shouldn't if you are pregnant.  Although I've heard some women have.
