And how’d you figure out what looks good for your skin tone? Like can I go to sephora and ask them for a subtle makeover? 💄💋👀

I would just search YouTube videos. Like, "best drugstore concealer." Or "best drugstore full coverage foundation." I spent a lot of time watching videos in bed after the kids were asleep at night! It helped so much

I just went with things I liked and was comfortable with (without spending an arm and a leg on stuff). YouTube helped me a lot, especially finding people who didn't do full glam looks and did things more my style like Kathleen lights and mirellabellebeauty.
Omg that does help me out a lot! I looked myself and I probably typed the wrong thing cause I saw extremely experienced make up artists lol ooops
I went I to Ulta and said "I have no idea what I'm doing, please help" and they helped me pick out everything, asked what look/coverage I wanted, and showed me how to use everything. And then I said I didn't want to spend a huge amount of money and she told me what I'd use daily vs what I could skip.

@scx, she did do my face. I had already had a smudge of eyeshadow on so she didn't do that, but I demonstrated just how rarely I wore makeup when she tried to put on mascara. I could not stop blinking and making a mess 🤦♀️
You can youtube makeup tutorials and yes you can ask the sephora girls to help you out:)
