ISO toddler advice:
My almost 1.5 year old has not been eating as much as usual during our sit down feedings. I offer three meals and snacks in between. He chugs his morning oj and the milk i offer. Takes a few bites, then says, “All done.”
I try to encourage bites between sips, or try to get him excited for another bite. Even with his snacks.
Soft, baby food has helped substitute some food. I cant tell if he is bored of the food or is full. He is showing no other symptoms. Healthy diapers.
Have you experienced fazes like this w/ your lo?
How did you respond to help them eat more?

My son has sensory issues with food so we’ve had to see a pediatric nutritionist and are in occupational therapy. One of the things I was surprised by is the calories a toddler needs, the nutritionist said it was 1,200 at most for my 2.5 year old. Spread out over a day, those are pretty small meals. But some other things we’ve tried to keep focus on eating are naming the colors of all the foods, counting everything, singing songs at the table. Just stuff to keep our some more engaged at the table and wanting less to get down and play. He does go through eating phases also. One week he’ll want all the food everywhere, and others just a few bites and he’s done.
He could be overwhelmed by the amount of food in front of him. Also don’t offer anything to drink before he has eaten because the liquid is making him full and not wanting to eat.
Understanding appropriate serving sizes may help you. My son used to eat like a tank and, out of nowhere, started eating way less. Toddlers only need 1 oz of meat/protein and 1-2 tbsps of the other food groups to meet their nutritional needs. If your son is at least getting that much, I wouldn't be concerned. It is just a phase. He will go through a growth spurt at some point and start eating nonstop again. If you are desperate, put sauce on his food. We buy organic ketchup and my son will eat anything if it has ketchup on it. Don't get discouraged. You're doing great!
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?

Y’all please please be careful and monitor what these babies are watching on YouTube thank god my baby didn’t understand what the thing was saying he showed me the phone and said “scary mama” I think continued to listen to what the thing was saying and I was livid and horrified it was explaining to my son how to kill the whole family while everyone was asleep

My husband and I aren’t exactly strangers when it comes to relationship challenges 💞. We have been together for 14 years and married for eight, so we’ve definitely gone through some growing pains as we navigated a long-distance relationship in college and our first year living together as a married 👫 couple.
But nothing has challenged our relationship quite like our first year as 👪 parents .

My daughter stopped eating at 18 months. She’d be all done after 4 bites. We tried everything but she stayed that way until about 3.5 then started eating more, but it still takes some effort. She’s very skinny but she’s growing and her doctors have never been worried. Some kids just don’t like to eat. Keep offering and try to make it fun.
