Check that you've healed properly.

If you had a vaginal delivery .. she will check you are healing up. She'll check your uterus and tummy area .. also ask you about birth control for the future.

@tlistboom I didn't know what to expect, to be honest. I only saw the nurses once per shift change too. I dunno if it was because it was an easy delivery or it was a standard thing. :/

@megand15 My second delivery was like that .. bc it all went well and I am easy going. I went home exactly 24hrs later.

There still are protocols though.

@tlistboom they wanted me to be discharged after 24hrs, and I would have said yes, but she hadn't peed in hours (can't remember, but it was something like 6.) They didn't think it was a huge deal, but it worried me. So I told them I wasn't leaving until she did. She had a good latch so I think that's another reason they didnt come in much. I'll know more for next time, still annoying though.
