@ooshefit2, are they relatively flexible with hours for people who have kids? Cause I’m willing to work 40 hours a week as I already do where I work now but my problem is how early/late I can work and the weekends can be a problem and holidays are definitely a problem.

@bubbys.mommy, so here’s the thing. You get an availability sheet and that’s what it’s based off. Your schedule is based off that. And you’ll always have a schedule two weeks out. If you cannot follow your own availability sheet and can’t show up to work when you say you can.,.thats where you’ll have issues. Costco is amazing company who takes very good care of their employees but have zero tolerance for people who don’t show up to work.

And holiday , don’t worry. Costco’s closed all major holidays, 5 or so days a year. You wouldn’t need to worry about working Christmas or thanksgiving.

I just wanted to know how flexible they are with hours and since I have a 2 year old...day care is a problem on weekends and holidays i applied and I think I figured it out..I’m willing to work a lot but day care is closed on holidays and weekends so finding child care during those times would be hard(not impossible though) I just can’t have a set schedule to work weekends.

It depends what position you get hired in. What hours they have available for that position. &’ Also seniority plays a big part in schedules.

Holidays we always have off. But just the day of.

I was working full time, now parttime

after having my daughter because they couldnt give me a schedule i want. I might have to drop down to limited part time once i have my second child ( which no longer offers benefits ). But i have been with the company for too long, i dont want to lose seniority, or my pay 😭🤣

Theyre very flexible if you have “ school “ 😂 but not so much with childcare at least where i work.
