My poor baby girl is sick. She has an ear infection in her right ear and one starting in the left. She has been running a fever all day. It goes away than come right back and seems to worsen. They prescribed her medication. I gave that to her plus her medication for fever and she threw it up. She’s thrown up like 5 times today. She also won’t eat anything. She’s been drinking fluids, but again she can’t really keep that in either. Just gave her something for her fever with hopes she will keep that in. Contemplating taking to the er even though she cries and says no she doesn’t want to go. Advice mamas?

@al_lopezzzz2718, @amysbabies, I called a nurse hotline. They don’t want me to give her anymore of that antibiotic they prescribed her today. They want me to call her doctors office in the morning and see what they want to do from here. They said keep her hydrated as much as possible.
You said your baby threw up 5 times and won't eat..I would still take her to the ER just so she can get something to stop the vomit so she can eat
I hope she gets better soon!!! Ask for the antibiotic shot instead. It’s a one time shot instead of a course of antibiotics. I didn’t even know it existed , but my little guy had a ear infection and high fever and his doctor gave it to him, it worked like a charm. I wouldn’t do the ER- just call and get an appointment first thing in the morning :).

My August baby decided she wanted to be a May baby like her big sister. Madison Noelle was born on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:50pm, weighing 2lbs, 13oz and 14". She was born at 27 weeks and has a long road ahead of her. Every day she has been getting stronger and amazing everyone. Please keep us in your prayers, my family and I have a long road ahead of us. I think my dog is dying. She’s 12 years old and we’ve been having the same problem with her for a month. She’s been outside this morning pooping for an hour and it has blood in it. We’ve taken her to the vet but they just keep giving her medicine that’s not helping and all these vet visits are costing a lot of money each time she goes. I don’t know what else to do. She cries all the time to go outside and has accidents in the house.
Briella was doing much better with her g-tube feedings, and then we hit another bump in the road. She has an infection which is not a rare occurrence for us, we do our best to keep her wounds clean but it’s a lot to keep up with. She’s getting IV antibiotics and will be okay, it’s just so hard to see her feeling so crappy 💔
Anyone’s child been sick recently with just a fever and no other symptoms? My daughter woke up with a fever yesterday am, I let her ride it out until she became fussy and uncomfortable. I gave her some Motrin that helped for 6 hours. I gave her more while
I waiting to do a store run for Tylenol because she was burning up. The second dose made her fever come down a little, later on I gave her Tylenol and she threw it up right away. I gave her a bath to help cool her. I have her in just a diaper....
