Hi help anxiety filled mom here. 👋 my son has had a temperature the past two days and has just laid around he has no other symptoms but his fever now is 101.5 after he just had Tylenol about 45 minutes ago. I don’t have an exact question just needing some advice.

Don’t out to many layers on him cool towels cool baths try to cool him down as many ways possible could be the virus that’s floating around my kids went through it recently

broke out in fever lasted like 2/3 days I did ibuprofen which in my opinion works best let them sleep in diapers and it worked out

Its that season for fevers. Just strip him down to diaper and offer some sugar free popsicles. Re-check his temp after an hour. Could just be his body fighting off a virus.

He has been eating and drinking fine luckily. I was thinking that too that his body was fighting something off

i use advil/motrin for us. tylenol never seems to do much. has he been exposed to anyone sick? is he in daycare? usually fevers mean infection (in my case they do). is he getting new teeth?

He hasn’t been around anyone sick but on New Years we went to my friends who also has a one year old but the last time she was sick was about a month ago. He is getting new teeth but usually he barely gets a fever while getting them nothing like this

Theres a virus called Roseola that causes high fever without any other symptoms. Usually once the fever breaks they'll break out in a rash. Could be that, but I'd call your pediatrician tomorrow and see what they say.
