My 15 month old doesn’t show or want affection. Is this normal?

No its not normal but it doesn't always mean autism.

It took my son a while to be affectionate. He had so much energy it was hard for him to sit still and be affectionate. Sometime between 1 and 1 1/2 I feel like it clicked for him. Started with hugs and short snuggle sessions on the couch. Now he’ll crawl into laps for snuggles, give kisses. But it was a concern of ours for a while that he wasn’t affectionate.

My older son has ADHD and has always shows a lot of affection. I would think it’d be more like autism

Honestly I was sort of thinking that he could have that. He is also sensory sensitive to like light, and noise
