I am 38 weeks today and had my last appointment. My blood pressure has been high and experiencing lots of swelling. My doctor completely just dismissed my symptoms I feel like but wants me to come back Friday for a blood pressure check. I’m just confused and kinda annoyed because I feel like I’m just being overlooked. So today I will just rest and try not to let it bother me for now. 😬

Well my blood pressure is 133/80 but I am so nauseous and just tired.

Idk why, but every time I go to the doctor they just check my blood pressure, weight, urine, baby's heartbeat, and send me on my way!

Will your Mom be in the delivery room?
My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.

I didn't realize I had high blood pressure with my first. If the top part of your belly starts hurting or you get sick where you're throwing up. Go in. I had those symptoms and didn't think anything of it, turns out I had HELLP Syndrome. I got airlifted to get my daughter out of me.
