Doing this whole 1 car thing sucks!!! It wouldn’t be so bad if my husband didn’t work an hour away. Hopefully next week…

@mamaof2babes yes he does lol hes always telling me u work at a school and color all day u would never be able to do this lol. And omg! I go w my husband to his training too for a mini vacation lol we are going on the 21st.

@aussiexjane, that’s funny!! I work at a school too not with kids but with adults. I teach people phlebotomy he says all i do is sit around yelling people no don’t do that, that’s not that vein 😂😂 I cant wait to go to la. I need the v cay. It’s going to be a drive but oh well haha

@aussiexjane, yeah! He went from prepping cars to apprenticing then to painting after his friend died he took his spot at work. And he’s doing soo good. It’s a nice side job line of work too!! It was a 2017 Ford Fusion I loved it so much!

@mamaof2babes lol wow my husband was an assistant too. His old boss quit and taught him a lot and now hes the head painter at a major dealership. Lol I dont believe in coincidences so this convo was supposed to happen lol. And yes I LOVE the side work because that money is nice in between pay days. Fords are beautiful. I bet it was fully loaded. U said u guys totaled it? That freaking sucks

@aussiexjane, That’s awesome!!! A lot of painters don’t want to train others because they are afraid of them taking their job or doing better. Our husbands got lucky!! My husbands old job is regretting not giving him a chance he does better then all the painters they had he has like one re do a month and pushes like 30 cars out a week. Right the side pay between pay checks are so nice. It’s friends are always trying to get him to do their cars. His boss will even take in side jobs where the paint in illegal to paint in California so he doesn’t have it on the books and will pay my husband more then he would of made painting on the clock. It’s a nice trade. It was fully loaded. It was bitter sweet. Our payments were so high so my insurance paid like 17,000 and gap paid the other 13,000 so it’s helping us out a lot. I didn’t think they would total it but the parts were so expensive.
