My baby won’t stop crying he’s 5 weeks and I’ve tried everything! Burping, feeding, a diaper change, rocking him and he still won’t stop. He also refuses to take a nap. He’s usually always a calm and quiet baby, so I have absolutely no idea what to do. Any ideas??

This is me currently but I realized he likes being walked around and skin to skin contact. Also I have a rocker that has been helping. But most the skin to skin keeps him calm.

Does he seem to be uncomfortable or in pain? He could be gassy in which case you can try gentle tummy massages (there are videos on YouTube). He is also probably overtired which is making him cranky and making it harder for him to fall asleep. But it is completely normal for babies to go through periods of crying for no apparent reason when they’re newborns. Skin to skin might help, or putting him in a baby carrier if you have one and walking around the house.
