I did pretty bad with this last baby. My first two I was okay. By like 8 weeks I was back to normal but this time I’m 3 months postpartum and I’m just starting to touch the surface of the water. I didn’t wanna leave my bedroom I’d just sit in there with her all day long watching Netflix. I didn’t wanna go ANYWHERE. A five minute trip down the road felt like a hugeeee hassle and made me get anxiety. I cried constantly over every little thing. My baby was colic too so that just was icing on the cake lol. She would cry and so would I . Things get better though.. don’t be afraid to talk to anyone about it. Whether it be your doctor or mom or a friend . I talked a lot to my husband and my mom as well and was preparing to call my
Doctor about maybe starting medication to help but it slowly started approving to where I don’t feel I need it.
@lizzzzzzz, @ktryan21, @badgirlnextdoor, @twotimesfried, for the past couple of days I been feeling kinda weird, like I’m dreaming this life I’m living and I can’t wake up from it, im not angry, I’m sad want to cry all the time cause I had another baby, I feel like I keep up with my first child and I’m failing her😢😢😢
It’s overwhelming two kids I only have one but also take care of my mom who has dementia which is like having another child esp when your hormones are all over the place being exhausted it’s normal too feel that way i bottled it up the first few months I felt like I was suffocating it was the scariest feeling and I turned into a hypochondriac I kept going to doctors bc I thought something was wrong with me I’m 9 months pp now and I still having my days I’m just hoping I will wake up and feel like my old self again us women put to much pressure on ourselves
My doctor said when it’s that recent , it’s called the baby blues. Don’t feel bad , I’ve felt that way too. I wanted a child , why am I crying . Why do I feel so empty? My doc said it’s the hormones . But also I feel that it’s just a lot of change at once . ❤️
I had ppd after my second and had the same feeling of failing my first he was 5 at the time and it sucked not ever having the energy to play with him or be there for him. My bf did an awesome job of helping with him and so he didn't feel left out. It helped to just spend 15 to 20 minutes a day with my son while the baby slept or my bf watched her. But after just having a baby your hormones drop immensely and have to stabilize themselves so like @lizzzzzzz said be easier on yourself girl. In the beginning those feelings are sadly normal but if they prolong past the first 6-8 weeks I would definitely mention it to your OB. And getting into normalcy again after a second child is tough but it will come. Hang in there!!
I did for a good six months after my baby was born. It was a really dark time. I had to eventually go to therapy to help myself and it was the best thing I did. In the time before that though I would just try to get out as much as possible with my kids or once in awhile with friends. Also, talking with close friends about it helped me. Hang in there mama it gets better!! ❤
I did, severely. After 2 suicide attempts, I’m doing much better now. If you know you need help, get help right away
Yup... 😢 but i decided to go to therapy to help me. So far I’ve been going for 8 months . It’s helped
If you need to talk don’t hesitate to talk to someone you trust, I’m here too. If you have any friends on here I’m sure they are open to listening to you. Talk to your doctor ... talk to your family . Whatever helps .
