Any ideas why my dog coughs every time he drinks and eats? His collar isnt tight either but sounds like hes choking or something

It helps to elevate the food and water bowls to their height, making sure they don't have to bend down at all. My pup had the same issue and this resolved it :) hope it helps you

They could be eating or drinking to fast. They make special bowls for dogs that do eat to fast.

Hes a slow eater. Maybe i need to get a thing to raise it up so it's not on the floor?
