Happy new year! I am going to save money this year. Got up early to go thrift shopping! Saw a shop with women waiting for it to open. So it has to be a good one right? How do you know where to find the good thrift shops?

Thanks. It took me to max out a credit card helping my sister buy clothes for her new position at that time. For someone to school on thrift stores. Yet all I knew was goodwill! Now I found a non goodwill😀
@lana30319, even Goodwill can have some amazing stuff! You just have to dig. I find my son Nike stuff all the time, and I’ve found myself a Coach handbag and a Chanel handbag.
We go to thrift stores in the more wealthy areas. They tend to have better stuff. I shop at Plato's closet. Not sure if u have one but it's all name brand clothes at like 70% off.
I went to Plato's near me. B4 I had kids and the clothes laughed at me. Cause none were in my size. I am a plus size!
@lana30319 I am too! Ours has a plus size section. (It's small though) I have a very weird body shape. I can fit in medium and large shirts but I'm a plus size in jeans and pants. I normally go for shirts hoodies and dresses. On the rare occasion they have pants that actually fit and are cute I'll get them.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
