Okay breastfeeding momma's, in the hospital I decided last minute I was gonna do bottle instead of breast, but I just went home today and my husband thinks I should still breast feed baby bc he thinks it's best for her, so my question is though I'm on meds for pain though and dont know if it's safe to go ahead and breast feed her still?
opinions about breast feeding while pregnant. the receptionist at my OB told me while making my appointment to start getting her off of the boob, because breast feeding causes your uterus to contract and can cause a miscarriage or preterm labor. any ladies breast feed your LO while pregnant and should I believe the receptionist?? my baby just turned 3 months on the 23rd .I give her breast and formula sometimes. any advice is appreciated👍
Quick question to breast feeding mum i would like to breast feed my baby when she comes as I’ve never really breast fed my other 2, is it uncomfortable also how is pumping out milk????? For bottle feeds is the pump uncomfortable... I would normally just breast feed and not pump when home but I do drive so when I’m out and can’t stop I’ll have to use a bottle...I remember trying to breast feed my youngest and I keeped getting milk ducts why was that??? I think that’s why I gave up as I was scared lol
My baby girl does not let me do anything all day 😭 I'm lucky if everything is done before my s.o gets home , she cried so I pick her up to feed her and change her diaper and once she's on my breast she eats and I burp her put her down and she'll cry I get her again and she's on my breast not even latched on just smelling my boobs 😭 I'm like girl really lmao she wants me to carry her or be with her all day , girl I wish I could lmao

Starting TWW. Anyone else? I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

I'm on ibuprofen and percocet and I mainly just use my ibuprofen and the percocet only if absolutely needed if in bad pain

Breast milk IS the best food for a human baby but formula can substitute. As long as you are not taking more of the narcotic than prescribed yes you can nurse. After my c section I had Percocet. I took the recommend dose and no more. The narcotic doesn't pass into the milk enough to really affect baby.
If you are only nursing because someone else thinks you should, there is a good chance you won't stick it out. I LOVE nursing my kids but I made that choice.

Yes, that’s fine. The prescribe you meds compatible with breastfeeding after giving birth. Just take the recommended amount & you’ll be fine.
