there is nothing more annoying than when someone makes plans with you and constantly cancels. I've tried hanging out with her 4 times and every single time she or her son magically wake up sick over night. I get things happen but 2 of those times were in a few days of each other. If you don't have any intentions of hanging out with someone stop agreeing to it! Why do I bother trying 😒 Rant over.
@lily79 I have a "best friend" that does this also. I was the only one who ever made an effort to talk or hang out eventually I stopped making that effort and we didn't talk for months
@sammiet2013 we live 3 hours away from each other now, but we meet in the middle as there's lots to do there, and I am always the one to suggest we do something. It's hard not talking or seeing her, but it's harder on me to feel neglected or ignored. (I can't think of the right word)
@lily79 I completely understand that feeling! we live not even 15 minutes away from each other and we never see each other. she's only seen my daughter 1 time since we left the hospital after she was born. she doesn't have kids so I understand it's kinda different but it still sucks! It's nice that your able to meet up at least and spend some time together! if only she would reciprocate the initiation of making plans
I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway. At first I told him “only let her get one toy” so she picks one up and he is still holding her over the toy box then tries to put her over the baby gate so she can grab more. I’m sorry but you ...
I need to ask someone this have you literally regret having a child with someone. I love my daughter with all my heart but I really regret ever being with her dad.
**RANT**
I’ve been dating a guy recently and him and his ex co parent (very well) there’s just a tiny thing that kind of eats at me. She’s always coming over and hanging out and cooking him/us dinner, and has stayed the night at his place a few times. Last night after he got off he went over to her place and got drunk and stayed the night. Note she has a bf herself and I know I don’t have anything to worry about but it just really bothers me because it’s very different than what I’m used to. I’...

Not to mention this one over someone politely commenting that you had your years mixed up and provided proof. 🤔
Do I need to continue?
There are few things worse than a fickle friend. Stop making plans with her. It will never get better. Better to know where you stand with someone and draw the line than to keep getting hurt.
